Victoria Slavinsky is a 4th year medical student at Georgetown University School of Medicine who previously completed a Cutaneous Translational Research Fellowship with a focus on cutaneous T-cell lymphoma at Johns Hopkins University. She is originally from Kiev, Ukraine and grew up in NYC where she attended CUNY Baruch College for undergrad. Prior to medical school, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her interests within dermatology include cutaneous oncology, scarring, psoriasis, and the intersection of dermatology and rheumatology. She is also particularly passionate about medical education and mentorship, constantly seeking out opportunities to help underclassmen and pre-med students as they navigate their own medical careers. Outside of medicine, she enjoys writing, singing and playing guitar, and visiting museums. She is thrilled to join the Sk(in)depth team, collaborate with her colleagues, and stay up-to-date on current dermatology literature!
