​Sophia is a second year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia. She grew up just north of Atlanta in Johns Creek and graduated from the University of Georgia where she spent time as a patient care assistant for a student with spinal muscular atrophy. Sophia’s initial fascination with dermatology began when she was younger, but since starting medical school, she has become especially interested in procedural dermatology and oncodermatology. In her free time, Sophia loves getting fresh air and staying active by hiking, lifting weights, and waterskiing. She also loves spending time with her boyfriend and family, including her cat, Moose.​
