Savanna Vidal is a medical student at The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Originally from New York (an hour north of NYC!), she studied Cell & Molecular Biology with a minor in Spanish at Binghamton University. She has been interested in becoming a dermatologist since she was a little girl, and is a long-time reader of The Daily Skimm, so discovering Sk(in depth) felt like fate. Her academic interests include medical, women’s, and pediatric dermatology. In her free time, she works with Learn2Derm, a local community-based skin health education program, volunteers as a manager at a local yoga studio, and enjoys reading fiction novels.
