Sara is medical student at the Georgetown University School of Medicine and current research fellow at George Washington University. She is interested in dermatology, specifically the treatment of hypertrophic scarring and alopecia. She grew up in Los Angeles, and attended the University of Southern California for undergrad. After graduating, Sara spent a year working for a mobile clinic serving Skid Row, an area with one of the largest homeless populations. She also received her masters in Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine. Sara is interested in providing dermatologic care to underserved communities. During her research year, she will be helping to facilitate a free telehealth clinic for community members of Ward 8 in Washington DC. In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks with her dog, trying new restaurants, bachata dancing, and spending time at
the beach! |
