Olivia is a 4th year medical student at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She grew up in Macomb, Michigan, and attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor for her undergraduate education in nursing. She is passionate about dermatology practice and research and worked as a clinical research coordinator for dermatological studies during her undergraduate years. She worked as a registered nurse for 3 years prior to beginning medical school and maintains her position as a nurse at a local dermatology office during medical school. Working in dermatology, she finds it essential to stay up-to-date on current research and treatments. As a former competitive dancer, Olivia enjoys taking ballet, jazz, and tap classes in her free time. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends, especially at the pool during the always-too-short Michigan summers.
