Jaina is a 1st year medical student at Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Champaign, Illinois. She is a neighbor from the north growing up in Windsor Ontario, Canada. She attended Duke University where she studied Mechanical Engineering and was on the Varsity Diving team. After completing her undergrad, she went on to complete a postbac in medical sciences at the University of Michigan. Jaina engages in her school’s dermatology interest group and is interested in the connection between engineering in medicine. In her free time Jaina enjoys peloton, cooking and playing with her adorable French bulldog Scotty.
