Elizabeth is a 4th year medical student at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She grew up in Short Hills, New Jersey and went to Duke University where she was a Gender, Sexuality and Feminist Studies Major. During medical school, Elizabeth decided to take a dedicated research year, working with the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology to research hair and scalp disorders. It was during this year of research and clinical work that she realized the importance of staying up to date with the literature to provide the best care for patients! Elizabeth has a particular interest in patient advocacy and physician education. In addition to working with the Alopecia Justice League, she has been involved in the creation of online educational content for dermatologists and patients interested in learning more about skin disorders. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling and interior design. |
