Courtney is a second year medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Born and raised in California, she attended the University of California, Berkeley for her undergraduate education, where she graduated with a major in Nutritional Sciences: Toxicology and minors in Global Public Health and Data Science: Statistics. During her time at Berkeley, she fell in love with research and explored clinical, data science, epidemiology, and qualitative research. She also worked at a plastic surgery private practice for two years, where she developed an interest in cosmetic procedures. Courtney's main research interests are inflammatory skin diseases, health disparities, and intimate partner violence intervention in healthcare. In her free time, she enjoys weight training, trying new recipes, and exploring NYC!
