​Chelsea is a PGY-1 prelim medicine resident at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she will also complete her dermatology residency. She hails from Summerville, South Carolina and is a University of South Carolina alum. Prior to medical school, she worked as a publicist in New York City. She received a Master’s in Clinical Research between her third and fourth years of medical school. During her research year, she discovered a love for pediatric dermatology, with a special interest in autoimmune dermatologic processes. As a volunteer at several free clinics in Charleston, she strives to provide access to care for children in need. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling to new cities, and frequenting live music events. She is looking forward to dusting off her PR skills and bringing her talents to the sk(in depth) team!
