Cat is a PGY-1 completing her preliminary year in internal medicine at New York Presbyterian-Brooklyn, after which she will go to Johns Hopkins University for her dermatology residency. She grew up in New Jersey, and attended the University of Michigan for undergrad thinking she would become a lawyer. After realizing it wasn't the right fit and being called to medicine, she made a career change. She completed her pre-medical education at the University of Pennsylvania's Core Studies post-baccalaureate program. Between finishing course work and medical school, she worked as a Reflectance Confocal Microscopy technician; because of this, she is interested in the use of non-invasive technologies in dermatology. She is also interested in pediatric dermatology and medical education. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her young nieces, hiking, swimming, trying new restaurants, and also watching Michigan football. Go Blue!
