Caroline is a 3rd year medical student at the Medical University of South Carolina. She grew up in Roanoke, Virginia and attended UNC Chapel Hill where she studied Biology and Spanish, and pole vaulted for her University’s Track and Field Program. After graduating in 2017, Caroline moved to Washington, DC to pursue her Master’s in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. She later found her interest in dermatology working for a private dermatology practice in Fairfax, Virginia. Caroline then worked as a Research Coordinator conducting clinical trials in cystic fibrosis, sarcoidosis, and COVID-19 research. Caroline has a particular interest in improving patient-reported outcomes, mental health and health equity as they pertain to dermatology. In her free time, Caroline takes advantage of all the wonderful activities Charleston has to offer, with trips to the beach, playing on her beach volleyball team and coaching pole vault for her local Track club.
