Caden is a fourth-year medical student at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He grew up in Lake Havasu, Arizona, and completed his undergraduate studies at Concordia University in Irvine, California. Caden swam competitively for 16 years- from age six until completion of his collegiate career in 2020. Having spent so much of his early life in the sun, Caden has experienced firsthand the importance of sun protection and caring for one’s skin, and he hopes to share this perspective with others through dermatology. Caden’s specific interests within the field include cutaneous manifestations of infectious disease, skin cancer, dermatopathology, and Mohs surgery.
He feels strongly about education and community outreach, and works actively with Special Olympics and IMPACT Melanoma to promote safe skin and increased awareness of skin cancer. Caden is also passionate about dermatologic research and medical literature. He is the founder and host of Derm of the Day Podcast, where he breaks down high-yield aspects of common cutaneous disorders for fellow medical students. Caden joins the Sk(In Depth) team as Podcast Production Lead, and is excited to share the most current dermatologic research and perspectives with others on this unique platform! |
