​Emily is a third-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Originally from Owensboro, Kentucky, she is passionate about global and public health, especially the intersection of infectious disease, autoimmune conditions, and dermatology. She served as Student Council President during her second year and is completing a Distinction in Business and Leadership, which has deepened her interest in healthcare systems and advocacy. Outside of school, Emily enjoys going on walks, reading books, spending time with friends and family, and hanging out with her cat. She is very excited to be part of the Sk(in depth) team and collaborate with students nationwide.
