Tala is a third-year medical student at the University of Louisville School of Medicine with interests in pediatric dermatology, complex medical dermatology, and the effects of environmental exposures on skin health. She earned a B.S. in Biology with minors in History and Developmental Psychology from The Ohio State University (go bucks!). Tala is passionate about bridging research and advocacy in dermatology and has contributed to projects on hypertrophic burn scars, atopic dermatitis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and nail diseases. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, exploring new restaurants, trying out local coffee shops, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
